Gemini is a constellation, it is located in the northern sky, and northeast of the other constellation Orion. Gemini is Latin for twins, and the twins are actually two bright stars said to be Castor and Pollux by the Greeks or Romulus and Remus by the Romans. Gemini is fairly easy to see for beginner stargazers because it’s in between Cancer and Taurus. Gemini’s best viewed in February. Pollux has one large planet orbiting it, while Castor has two companion stars. Every year Gemini has a meteor shower known as the Geminids. Overall, my constellation is the best because it’s made up of two people. What is your favorite constellation and why?
